If you’ve never been to Herefordshire, you should take the time to explore this beautiful county on the edge of England and Wales, and appreciate some of the rural environment of this part of the country. Even if you have been before, here’s a new place to stay while you find new areas of the county to escape to.

Mistletoe Cottage is a traditional looking holiday home with up to date facilities, with quirkiness and some unique touches that will make your holiday one to remember.

The location of the Cottage is perfect for many an activity, relaxing or vigorous walks, heritage and modern attractions, and accommodates four people with plenty of space and facilities.

Wake up to the sound of birdsong, enjoy colourful sunsets as you relax in the garden, and enjoy the comfortable environment, as you take time away from your regular lifestyle.

Mistletoe Cottage can sleep up to four people in the house, each luxury double room with an en-suite shower or bath room, superbly comfortable beds, and a large lounge, dining area and kitchen. In addition, one or two more people are welcome to stay in the Shepherd’s Hut. You can make hot drinks there, and relax, read and sleep. There is no bedding or towels provided in the Shepherd’s Hut.

Kinnersley is a small hamlet located right in the centre of Herefordshire, with easy access to Hay-on-Wye, Ross-on-Wye, Weobley, the City of Hereford, and many other towns of the county, yet is only 5 miles east from the border with Wales.

The scenery is outstanding, looking towards the Black Mountains and Hereford.

Captivating Countryside, Amazing Attractions, Fun Festivals

Kinnersley is a small hamlet located right in the centre of Herefordshire, with easy access to Hay-on-Wye, Ross-on-Wye, Weobley, the City of Hereford, and many other towns of the county, yet is only 5 miles east from the Welsh Border.

If there’s one word to describe Herefordshire it’s “unspoiled”. Instead of commuter towns or conurbations there’s just the historic city of Hereford, embedded in rolling farmland and surrounded by little market towns and villages that time forgot.

Black and white half-timbered houses are a Hereford trademark, and almost every village and town has whole streets full of these rustic old buildings that go back to Tudor times or even further. The River Wye is a source of outdoor thrills in summer, while the many castles remind you that relations with Wales, the next-door neighbour, haven’t always been cordial. Kinnersley is just ten miles from the Welsh border – the ideal place to explore.
